This policy explains how KOTI (“we”, “us”, “our”), True Start 4 (Pty) Ltd, 134 Long Street, Cape Town, South Africa, 8001, collects, uses and protects personal information when you visit www.kotihotels.com (the “Website”). We are the “responsible party” under South Africa’s Protection of Personal Information Act, 2013 (POPIA) and the “data controller” under the GDPR and UK GDPR where those apply.

1. International transfers

KOTI is based in South Africa. Our service providers (such as hosting, email and analytics) may be located elsewhere, including outside South Africa and the European Economic Area. Where we transfer your information across borders, we do so only where the recipient is subject to law, binding rules or an agreement that provides an adequate level of protection, or where another lawful basis applies, in line with POPIA and, for European visitors, the GDPR and UK GDPR.

2. Your rights

You may ask us to:
- Confirm whether we hold your personal information and give you access to it
- Correct or delete information that is inaccurate, outdated or unlawfully held
- Stop using your information for direct marketing at any time
- Object to our processing on reasonable grounds
- Withdraw consent previously given

If you are in the EEA or UK, you also have the GDPR rights of restriction, portability and not being subject to solely automated decisions.
